Challenge: Come up with a data-driven idea to get people to think of Accuweather as the go-to weather app.

Some people think rainy weather is gloomy, but it can also be calming and therapeutic. Inspired by our minute-by-minute forecast, we created an add-on that allows users to receive superior mental health support during any weather. The app will provide live chat, advice, music suggestions, and affirmations based on the weather. We partnered with Spotify for promotions since music is one of the biggest influences on someone’s mood.
